BALLET BANK HOLIDAY SPECIAL

ADVANCED CLASS WITH WILLIAM BRACEWELL

First Soloist of The Royal Ballet, William Bracewell will be leading an exclusive professional/advanced level class for DanceXchange from his home over bank holiday weekend on our Facebook Live!

Saturday 23 May / 10 – 10.45am

William says

‘This is an example of how I’m currently training in the space I have. During the class I’ll be concentrating on port de bras (carriage of the arms) and lower leg strength as well as helping you to maintain and work on your classical technique.‘

NB, This class is suitable for advanced-level and professional dancers over the age of 16, if you are beginner/intermediate level please head to our Instagram page on Monday’s at 6pm for our regular ballet class.

Get to know William Bracewell, our guest teacher on Saturday, via Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Tom and Ty Talk… podcast. Back in December William spoke to his old friends and former Birmingham Royal Ballet colleagues Tom and Ty in the episode “The lonely life of the injured dancer”. There are lots of other great episodes, including one with Birmingham’s own Glynn Purnell, and the latest one talking to The Royal Ballet’s Steven McRae.
