About the class

Accomplish the basics of contemporary dance by improving coordination, strength, body alignment and flexibility. Develop your technique with challenging exercises, floor work and more difficult travelling and jumping sequences in a fun and friendly environment.

A faster-paced class for those with a basic understanding of the dance style and knowledge of technique wanting to develop their skills.

Booking

Booking Changes **  An upgrade to our booking system means the first time you book a class you will need to make a new account.

Online booking: Tickets can be booked in advance online and it will close 30 minutes before the start time. Please ensure all personal information is entered correctly when booking your class.

In-person: Tickets can also be brought by cash or card at reception on the day, places are subject to availability.

Class FAQs

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or transferred unless the class/event is cancelled.

Concessions are available to those who are:

  • Over 60s

  • People with disabilities
  • People on Universal Credit
  • Emergency services workers
  • NHS and social care sector workers
  • Armed forces

ID will be required on arrival

Anything comfortable that lets you move freely. You can wear tracksuit bottoms, leggings & t-shirts for most classes. Please wear light-soled trainers or dance shoes (if you have them), Contemporary and yoga classes are bare feet.
Yes, we recommend you come to the studios changed and ready to go, however, changing/shower facilities are open.
No. we don’t have lockers so please take all your valuable possessions with you into the studio from the changing rooms.
Yes, please bring your refillable water bottle with you. You can take bottles with you into the studios.
You won’t be allowed to join a class if you’re more than 15 minutes late. This is because you’ll have missed the warm-up, which increases your chance of injury.

Contemporary Tutor (they/he)

Jack is a Birmingham/London based contemporary dance teacher and performance artist. After graduating from London Contemporary Dance School, they have worked as a performer often collaborating with other art mediums for magazines, online articles and live performances.
With a natural desire to help others grow and evolve their artistic abilities, individual confidence and flare. They have made it their mission to reach many in the Birmingham area, to inspire and develop them as artists.
