The Dance Development Leaders Group (DDLG) comprises 70+ dance professionals from core-funded and project-funded organisations as well as independents, working in all parts of the region. This informal network meets twice a year to explore the potential for collaboration and mutual support, articulating shared ambitions and embracing exciting possibilities.

This is the first of the two networking events of 2023.

The day will consist of

• Hearing more about the Critical Mass What’s Next Pilot Phase
• Inputting into the Professional Development opportunities for 2023-2024
• Maximising profile, impact & storytelling of dance in the region
• Guest Speaker presentation
• Building connections with like-minded dance professionals, sharing practice & learning

There are funds available to provide up to £15 expenses/support for 30 freelancers to attend. This will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis – if you would like to attend and require this support, please indicate this on the RSVP form.

A more detailed agenda will be shared nearer the time with those who have signed up to attend.

DDLG is led by FABRIC, who supports the leadership & facilitation of the network, in partnership with a Steering Group of NPO dance organisations including Birmingham Royal Ballet & Mercurial Dance, and is in consultation with the wider membership.
