Learning and Skills Development

8, 16, 20 & 22 March 2023

As part of the DDLG & Critical Mass What Next 2022-2024 project, we are committed to building on the Critical Mass learning around inclusive integrated work; and professional participatory practice development; to amplify outcomes and legacy. A series of online workshops, masterclasses and guest speakers will begin with the following:

Access Support – Online Drop-in surgeries

FABRIC is offering three initial online drop-in surgeries for specific access support questions. It is free to attend, and we welcome individuals at any stage of their career, whether you work closely with disabled young people/artists and are experienced in inclusive dance practice, or are just starting out on your journey and are interested in finding out more. It is a safe, open space to support each other and share our collective learning.

You can ask your question in advance if you’d rather not voice the question in the room, and we will ensure it is covered in the session. Questions and responses will be captured and shared with others seeking advice as part of an FAQ document.

To submit your questions and receive the Zoom link, please fill out the information form

  • Wednesday 8 March 12.30pm-1.30pm
  • Wednesday 22 March 5.30pm-6.30pm

In Conversation with Critical Mass Leaders

A series of one hour ‘In Conversation with’ zoom sessions, inviting Critical Mass leads and organisers to share the story of their role in the project, how the experience has influenced/changed their practice and 3 key learning points they want to share with dance professionals interested in working inclusively.

You can sign up to attend using the same information form as the access drop-in sessions

  • Thursday 16 March, 3pm-4pm: Zoie Golding, Lead Artist, Critical Mass
  • TBC date w/c 20 March: Rachel Liggitt, Inclusion Champion
