We are excited to announce 2 x bursaries for our Generate programme.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate young dancers aged 10+ years who want to challenge themselves to reach their full potential in dance. Generate trains every Wednesday during term time, from 4.30 – 6.30pm via Zoom with a cohort of fantastic teachers, who are all still working in the professional industry.

DX believes there should be a better representation of our society in dance, so we are offering two bursaries for West Midlands based dancers. The DX bursary will cover the full cost of Generate across three terms* (from 3 March -14 July).

You can apply for a bursary if you fall into any of the below criteria:

• live in Washwood Heath, Sparkbrook, Nechells, Aston, Ladywood, Small Heath, Soho, Shard End, Yardley or Handsworth
• in receipt of free school meals
• identify as LGBTQI+
• have a disability
• are a young person in care
• are a young carer
