UK PREMIERE
Rising company Humanhood brings together five exceptional dancers, merging their unique synergy and powerful movement into a hurricane of effortless fluidity. Torus is a return to the tribal, where rhythm takes over the performers and the viewer.
Co-Artistic Directors Rudi Cole and Júlia Robert Parés take inspiration from physics as well as in their personal insight into Eastern mysticism.
Humanhood was founded in 2016 by co-Artistic Directors Rudi Cole and Júlia Robert Parés, and since the creation of their first duet the company is having a rapidly growing following both in the UK and International scene. The research behind the work is rooted in physics as well as in their personal insight into Eastern mysticism, fascinated by the connections that lie between these seemingly different fields and how these shape our human experience of ourselves and reality.
